MY WHY

Memories are so important, and because of that it’s not so much the camera itself i’m passionate about. It’s those butterflies. Those heart-fluttering and starry eyed moments. I care most about the little things; the sweet, tiny, intricately detailed moments.

I want to capture your inner joy and peace, I believe in a God who loves you, calls you beloved and I want you to feel that when you see your photos.

THIS. This is what’s real; whats most worth documenting. Your life is magical in the most unique way and awe dropping way! And it’s these moments: the loud and equally the quiet that I love most.

GET TO KNOW ME

Hi I’m Shannon but my friends call me Shan. I’m 24, and live in Leeds UK. I discovered photography back when I was 16, and the obsession grew quickly. I created stories with shan, because I believe anyone can take a photo, but not everyone will spend the time getting to know you, and capturing the inbetween moments, glances. This is all about you, not about me, I’m just the one documenting:)

What makes me me?? Some of my most favourite things include:

  • God- thats my life’s priority.

  • Good conversation with a friend.

  • Music that makes me heart feel connected to God.

  • Sitting next to a log fire and reading.

  • Seeing new places with people I love.

  • Driving, I find it really therapeutic.

The Experience

Those chills, starry eyes, windswept hair, the quiet and loud, unplanned sweet moments.

I don’t care for capturing the fake, super super posed and unrealistic stuff. This is for you, so let’s capture that and go beyond the superficial stuff.

Anyone can take a photo, but not everyone will spend the time getting to know you, and capturing the inbetween moments, glances. This is all about you, not about me, I’m just the one documenting. Your story is uniquely yours. Thank you so much for trusting me with it.
